Just wondering who's intending to pick up the huge ships. I'm leaning towards getting the transport but I think that's mostly because of what it adds to the X-wing. If the X-wing weren't involved I'd probably have taken the Tantive over the Transport but then when you look at the price of it...

Saw a pool on BGG and out of the 335 people who voted, 72.4% are getting 1, 8.4% are getting 2, 2.1% are getting more then 2 and 17.3% are getting 0.

Both preordered (Amazon had a killer price) and seriously considering a second Transport.

The second transport is to get the Tantive order up enough to qualify for free shipping, of course!

I've pre-ordered one Transport, but I really might get one of each in the same order when the Tantive comes out...

I've already preorderd one of each. Luckily my dinning room table is long enough to fit the 3x6 area.

I'm not a massive fan of the transport, perhaps too many "escort" missions in games gone wrong

But what sells it to me is the X-wing and pilots. But the CR-90? Who doesn't love a massive flying gun platform? The real problem will be do I pull out the paint brush? Or accept it for what it is... Grey with some red?

I'm likely to pull out the paintbrush and modify the paint job, but I'm unlikely to bust out the air brush and do a complete repaint like I have for my other ships. I like being able to identify the ships on the board as mine (as well as which one is which).

My question is - do I bother trying to slice it in half to add some lighting to them?

Depending on how it's constructed, it might be quite easy to take apart - the Lambda was surprisingly easy and I'd like to think it would be more fiddly than a Transparisteel Giga-Narwhal (Yes. The transport needs a silly nickname too).

Yup, I will. Knowing that I was likely to do that did motivate me to bust out the old YT I lit up a few months ago and work on finalizing that project. And "finalizing" that project has basically turned into redoing it =P

I'll get one of each. I'm getting the Rebel Transport right away, but it might be a while before I get the Tantive IV ... that sucker is expensive.

Want the corvette... But it'll probably be a while before I dish out the cash for that bad boy. I'm still not even sure I will end up getting it. Transport is on preorder already over at MM. Mostly for the X-Wing and the astromechs. Guess I'm a victim of marketing.
