Who's going where in So Cal? Temecula is the closest to me, but I don't mind driving as far as Los Angeles or San Diego for an event like this. My go-to shop would probably be Brookhurst, though.

I've only been to Dice House once, and I wasn't particularly impressed by their table space.

I went to their Store Championship, and they had just enough table space for 14 people. But there was no more room for any other gaming. Still a great store though.

Only 4? We have that many alone in Maryland :-) and that doesn't count Virginia or Pennsylvania!!! Not sure why I have to drive 3.5 hours for a regional though!!!

Well, 4 stores for a small city on only 700,000 people isn't too bad. The next nearest store to run them is 8 hours away (this is Canada remember?)

I was thinking the same thing about The Warhouse in Long beach. Dice house has probably twice the space as warhouse :T

I didn't even think warhouse did much xwing. i only ever see people play warhammer and occasionally some pathfinder.

How are shops chosen? Emerald Knights might sell X-Wing, but they don't support it. I've called and emailed them a few times to see if they have any organized play. Their response is "We only play Star Trek. It's the same mechanic, so you should switch..." Kind of disappointing, to say the least.

Oh yeah, both Game Kastles (Santa Clara & Fremont Ca.) are hosting events. GK Santa Clara will be on Saturday and Fremont will be on Sunday if they do their usual tourney days for X-Wing.

Maybe we can cajole Roscoe's House of Chicken and Waffles into hosting an event. X-Wing, biscuits, and gravy? Yes please.

On a serious note, I played a number of Magic events on the Queen Mary back in the day. Maybe somebody could organize something there. Something big .

Holy cow. My FLGS is on the list. I didn't even know they applied for it.

Dragon Snack Games in Mount Morris NY is my FLGS. I literally live less than a mile away. I hope we can get any X-wing players to come down. I was the ONLY player to show up for their Kessel Run(I won ). After that, I was impressed that they applied for Imdaar Alpha. I might be able to wrangle up 3 or 4 players for this one including myself, so if anyone can make the trip we will welcome you with open arms(and torpedo tubes XD).

This is a worry. My LGS has the only Regional for our STATE, but can't find out if it has managed to get a pre-release event... I hope the list that FFG has posted is not complete and more will surface soon. As it is now, there seems to be zero Pre-release events in Australia at all, let alone in the state of Queensland.

Sigh...

So my local shop claims to have gotten a kit but they are not on the list, time to freak out?
