Nate French, Eric M. Lang, Christian T. Petersen interview for a Polish game magazine?

By Arkady Saulski, in 1. AGoT General Discussion

Greetings Arkady,

I´ve published the spanish translation on the official spanish blog of AGoT, hope you don´t mind. There is a link to the website of Rebel Times as well as your name in appreciation of the interview (and, of course, the name of Masi as the translator into spanish ¬_¬U :P)

You can see it here If there is something wrong with it, please let me know and I´d delete/change it.

Thank you very much.

Greetings!

Please - don't take this the wrong way - I'm not trying to be a **** or anything, but I must ask you to remove the interview from your website. The issue is that this is all connected with legal stuff - the interview is exclusive for Rebel Times, FFG and Roca Casterly. No other website is authorized to put it up to this point. You MAY give a link to Rebel Times and Roca Casterly, but, unfortunately you MAY NOT post the interview by yourself on any blog, website, et cetera, other than those mentioned. I'm very sorry - I would welcome the promotion of this interview by any means, but there are some things and some rules that I cannot brake. Sorry.

If you have any questions please contact me on the e-mail I have given recently.

Best wishes - Arkady.

Hi Arkady,

removed, no problem.

Thanks.

So... when and where will I be able to read this interview in English?

Some interesting stuff in the article.

So you seen the news, read the interview and had some thought's about it. Well - at this point I would like to address some of my feelings about all this.

First of all I would like to thank all who contribute in the creation of Rebel Times and who helped to make this interview happen. If it wasn't for your positive feedback, I would probably give up, and never start the whole idea in the first place.

Secondly - the "name" issue of the news of the Martell installment. Well - everyone knew it was coming, but also everyone knew that Diablo III is coming as well. However - when Blizzard announced it, there was a storm among fans. So is the case with Kings of the Sun - everyone knew there would be a Martell expansion after the Greyjoy installment, but the confirmation of it by Nate proved to be very good news. Also - I would like to suggest that I think the name "Kings of the Sun" is great, and I wouldn't like to see it changed. It depict a parallel between the "Kings of the Sea", and I find it most appropriate. Dear FFG creators - do not change it, no matter what the fans say!

And lastly - I would like to give you some gossip from Poland. To be true - Rebel Times is THE FIRST POLISH GAMES MAGAZINE to be MENTIONED OUTSIDE POLAND. Thats right - we had some games magazines earlier, but non of them managed to come as far as we did. Besides - the earlier ones were not free! And Rebel Times is free to download - that's something - don't you think?

Well - to conclude - I would like to thank you all for your patience, hope you enjoyed the interview and...

...you may find some interesting things soon in Rebel Times. Keep visiting our website - this interview was not the last thing we got to say.

Freaking Nate.

All these years and he still talks about the moral ambiguity of the Lannisters. There isn't anything ambiguous abuot them. They are verminous villains.

fan boy alert fan boy alert!!!!!

Stag still has not gotten over the first book, obviously :P

just as with all groups some lannisters are more compelling and some are more straight forward low down dirty rotten good for nothing sumnabitches

I happened to like Joffrey.

Thanks for the interview.

I completely disagree with the name. I mean if we are just going to ignore the boos lets make doran Grand Emperor of all of Westeros. What makes Thrones so amazing is its faithful rendering of Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire in game form.

Princes of the South is an excellent name. So would be half a dozen other names, all of which would be faithful to the IP.

Greetings once again!

If you ever thought that we would, in Rebel Times stop on just one interview - well, you would be sadly mistaken!

The interview with Nate marced the beginning of a new era in Rebel times, and this time - we are going really hard on it. I'll keep you posted what will be going on soon, but keep a lookout - there will be English, and, maybe, Spanish translations of what is to come. Be sure not to miss it!

Spoilers over - back to work.

I will see you... soon...
