Me and my friend need to settle a rules dispute.

Does damaged cockpit reduce pilot skill to '0' for the rest of the game or does it just last for one round.

The wording states 'the round after you receive this card' which seems to lay out a pretty distinct time frame of effect. But it doesn't turn face down either.

The wording is not 'The round after ...' but 'After the round ...'

Meaning that the effect starts next round rather than right now. And then it lasts until the card is flipped face down, removed or the ship is destroyed.
