Alrighteous, so in the current Tournament Rules, an Escalation fleet is one that has 4 phases.

Phase 1 is 60 points.
Phase 2 is 90 points and contains all of Phase 1, but can upgrade the ships further.
Phase 3 is 120 points, and contains all of Phase 2, but can upgrade the ships further
Phase 4 is 150 points, and is not an exception.

Also, you are not allowed to have more than 8 of a single breed of small-ship, and not allowed to have more than 4 of a single breed of large-ship.

So, with THAT in mind, I am fairly sure this is the most ships you can fit in the format with currently existing ships. Moreover, it advances in a fairly nice pattern

Phase 1 == 60 points == 5x Academy Tie [12 each]
Phase 2 == 90 points == Phase 1 + Academy Tie + Howlrunner [18]
Phase 3 == 118 Points == Phase 2 + Academy Tie + Scimitar Bomber [16 each]
Phase 4 == 150 Points == Phase 3 + 2x Scimitar Bomber

Total Phase 4 fleet:

7x Academy Tie

[12 Each]

3x Scimitar Bomber

[16 Each]

Howlrunner

[18]

I was honestly pondering sonething sinilar but I might ditch your first Scim for Backstabber. Force your opponent to make a decision between the baseball bat to the face, or a knife in the back.
