Ok, this is my Astrid deck, it got 10th place at the Path of the Master, 9th if you count diversity. This deck is solely off of Order, and in retrospect is missing a couple things, but I’m still happy with how it did regardless.

37 Weapons, 10 Assets, 20 Attacks, 42 Foundations, 0 Actions, 73 cards in total. Not your usual deck. This started out as basically an Astrid theme deck based off of Fire, but after a couple games I felt that I didn’t have enough defense, or blocks, since I was running Ruthless, Shield Breaker, Backhanded Axe Slash and so on.
Switching to Order gave me BRT to push my attacks through, Forethought for spammage and a nice block (and occasionally a hack), Aqua for draw power, and LotM for its stats and quick momentum generation for whenever I played Wolf Strike as a Reversal or was going to respond with Resourceful. LotM also made great Owlface bait, since I didn’t use it that much and people often targeted that first. It gave me AA to stay alive in the face of pumped attacks and multiple copies, and Chobi to get back some vitality.
I didn’t run Odin’s at all, because it isn’t necessary. For the 2-5 foundations I have to commit to make a single Odin’s pass (barring desperation), I could throw out several cheap attacks and pay for Astrid’s E a couple times. Plus, Odin’s can be hit with Bitter Rivals, which is something I wanted to avoid happening a lot in this deck. I considered running Lunar Slash, but decided against it because it can be hit with Bitter Rivals, its 6df and its 1cc. The last thing I want to do with trying to throw out 3-5 attacks a turn is hit a 1cc. I’ll probably experiment with it in casual games though... I also didn’t run Tag Along or Holding Ground, and that was simply because I didn’t have any on me the day of the tournament (forgot them in the hotel, go me >_> ). I’ll probably see if I can fit in a couple Tag Along, simply because I tend to check my Pommels more often than I draw them and I need them to tell Chun-Li among other things to shut up.
Anyways, any thoughts or comments would be appreciated. Thanks!
