Sad tidings

By r2trooper, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

Hey everyone, I just want to send out a quick thanks to everyone for helping me with my game!! Even to those of you those don't always agree with me :D

Well, it is time that I have to say good bye to my fledgling game. It is still young, but I have to leave it behind now. I just found out we are moving back to the US in June! I had great luck in the past year with gaming, finally finding a group, but now I have to leave them. Unfortunately, that is the way of the Military, well now DoD employees.

Hopefully Ahirmon will take over the group and run it better than I did! I have every confidence that he can and will. I hope my campaign can continue to thrive and let a few of my NPCs live on in glory with the Group. I have about 2 or 3 adventures left before I have to have everything packed up and shipped out.

I will stay an active member of the forum, there are so many great people on here! So even if I'm not gaming, I will still try to be involved here. For those of you that have had to leave groups behind, you know the bittersweet feeling of it all. I am pretty used to it, but this move came really fast, usually I have about 6 months heads up.

We are heading out to Quantico, Virginia. So if anyone is in that area of North-East Virginia and looking for a player or GM, let me know, I will be looking for a new group!

Well, I will still be around here, but again, thanks to everyone for your help and advice, and helping me make my better for my group.

May the Force be with you...always.

Thank YOU for the sacrifices that you have made and continue to make.

Wish I could help with the group situation, but I am sure you will get something going.

The force is strong with this one.

PCSing is only the beginning.. of a new group. Stick to it dude, there's enough people out there I'm sure you'll have a new group in no time.

Thanks. I know about PCSing, leaving groups and finding new ones. I did over 20 in the USAF. It only took me 5 years to find a group here in Germany. :o I hope that it won't take me that long in VA. There seems to be a lot more people out there that are in to gaming than around here. I have already seen quite a few meetup groups in that area. I'm still sad that I am leaving a great group though. We just started really getting into the groove of it...
