It's the only tournament scenario. I prefer it that way personally, but if I had weekly tournaments variety would be nice.

How is that unfair? It is the only tournament scenario for X wing. There are other scenarios with the bigger ship boosters.
Also, every booster in AW Has a custom scenario for every booster.
I've played both games and have left my Attack Wing on the shelf, collecting dust. X-Wing, in my opinion, is the superior game in every respect except for one. I wish that the bases that are used in AW were the ones FFG used for X-Wing.
I think it would have been cool to have the finals at the Kessel Run and the upcoming Assault at Imdaar Alpha be scenarios, as they feel like tourneys that would fit scenario play.

If you had specified 'tournament senerios' then your point would be valid. If you meant to imply that the I missed it.
As your post reads though it looks like you were ignoring all the extra senerios in the base set and with the large expansions.
It sounds like AW has a lot more senerios though so that would be a point in its favor. I don't know that I would want to see too many tournament scenarios though as that would require a lot more list prep.
Wizkids hasn't broken Heroclix? That isn't what I've observed. Let's just say, that if you are constantly rewriting the rules, you have some problems.
And with Attack Wing's output of ships, both regular and LE, combined with the mixing of everything, with Wizkid's record, something is going to break eventually.
