Starfield Game Tile Kit...? Anyone?

Blasphemer!!!!

Funny, I don't remember it wearing a red uniform.

Magnets would not work very well because of polarity issues. You would have to line the sides up a pretty specific way on all four edges to prevent them from pushing themselves apart. Doesn't sound very fun or easily modifiable to me.

They would have to line up a specific way to form the picture of the background it was making... It's like a 9 piece puzzle. Pretty doable I think. SCIENCE FTW.

It's totally dead. Why bother theorizing about gimping together magnet attachments?

To answer Tervlons post about magnets not being feasible. I understand it's dead, theory is not bounded by the realms of practicality good sir. One could argue that these come back in the future - using the superior science of magnets.

Your (flawed) assumption is that keeping the tiles together was the primary problem with the kit. Have you ever seen a game board lie perfectly flat? Is X-Wing fun to play on a slick surface? Is it a good thing to have a 1' grid of on the gaming board? All of those are fundamental problems with the kit. It's dead for a number of reasons. Just let it die.

Dude - down-vote your aggro attitude. There are ways of communicating that don't require you being disrespectful. One could argue that you have the choice to stop reading a 'dead' thread. Calm down, buddy. Some of us were just joking around.... Ever watch Breaking Bad? Magnets... That's all :) .
