Onslaught at Arda I
SWEET Jiminy Christmas... Mass Combat rules!!!!
Yancy
I like the sound of it.
Oooh TIE Hunters and Mass combat. I'll be getting this just for those probably.
Since we're still playing as scoundrels and smugglers - and having a grand ol' time of it, I'm less enthusiastic about a canned game for AoR than I would be a class book or new system. Still, they'll be some cool stuff in there, and I bet we can file the serial number off and use it anyway . . . .

Agreed. I also love the look. That art looks fantastic.

I'm in the same boat. I've been trying my best to keep up with at least the non-adventure books so I can keep abreast of awesome things, but this book may make me break that original thought. . .
We have our July/August release by the sound of things (going by the 3 months between announcement/release general rule).
I can't wait. You could most likely run this in EotE:
Group performs smuggling run of supplies only to get caught up in the mess of an Imperial investigation/search party. This adventure could easily be used to bring parties to AoR, or simply have a few sessions where you are forced to help the rebellion, for a price...
Sweet!
Looks nice. I'll probably buy it and keep it in reserve for when/if my players decide to join the Rebellion.
This looks great for when we transition into an AoR theme.
So, how long til we see it up for pre-order somewhere?
Beyond the Rim.
Jewel of Yavin.
AoR beta, core and BBox adventures.
Now this.
At the rate my group plays I am probably set for stories till the end of the year. And that doesn't include F&D beta and whatever homebrew stuff I grab up.
Happy, happy, joy, joy!
Edited by bsmith23Speak for yourself Bsmith...we're only just getting through Long Arm of the Hutt!
Still got Debts to Pay, Crates of Krayts, and several custom adventures to run. I'm set for a year and a half!

Even better - according to the synopsis, it looks like the game is centered around some kind of hunt for a traitor (or at least starts out with one). So lets say Our Smugglers show up to deliver blasters, bacta and supplies (or whatever) when the Empire shows up right behind them (and boy, doesn't that look suspicious!). The traitor on the base cleverly frames the Smugglers to divert attention from his activities - now they have to hunt down the real traitor, clear their names, avoid winding up on an Imperial prison ship AND still get paid.
Okay, I'm starting to come around on this idea. It very well might works in an EotE game.
Edited by DesslokDang, another adventure I'm going to have to buy. So much for my not buying premade adventures plan.
And here's me thinking I wasn't going to bother with AoR... Think I better re-evaluate that decision!!
And their plan is working.
Edited by DaeglanWe certainly seem to have our answer for a July release it would seem. Makes me wonder about September now. Will FFG go with an EoE book or one more month of AoR before going EoE again? Maybe alternate releases?
This sounds ace and could be a great way of getting my other group involved in the new system.

Maybe they will go Edge in august. Age in September. F&D will be august. But I recall there being a release in addition to the beta.
Here's hoping, more is gooder....
So April is AoR boxed, May is AoR and GM kit, June is Onslaught? Or am I a month behind or missing something?
GM kit and AoR will be a month apart probably.
Listed as 'at the printer' as of yesterday.
