I really liked your first podcast though it was very well done. Just enough introduction and background to let us know your history and interest in 40K and give us a bit about why you would make a Conquest podcast. I would say more but the work literally speaks for itself so if you like the idea of Conquest I highly recommend you give it a listen.

By the way in case anyone else is wondering like I was if this podcast is about 40K or just Conquest it's just Conquest which I really like since I don't play 40K for the same reasons the hosts don't anymore which I really appreciated their mentioning by the way. Maybe GW will never change but if no one ever makes it clear how many customers they have lost/could have had then there will never be any reason for them to. Well done Gentlemen!

Also just a personal curiosity but have you ever seen any of the Vaults of Terra series? If so what did you think?

As a father I understand where you are coming from, I wish my kid was still 5 months. All she did then was sleep eat and poop. Now that she is two years she is much more active, it's exhausting.

But just to be clear I'll educate you on a few things first:

Yes we would like people to listen to the podcast, most other shows that get spoilers operate on a similar system of waiting a couple of days to release the actual card image

No we don't hold it "hostage" and usually post the next day in the Facebook group and on card game DB

If anyone in this podcast is egotistical it's me as I'm amazing. Matt is much more community driven than I and tries his best to encompass all the aspects of the game be it news, lore or the cards. I find myself listening to him during the podcast when he speaks of the lore as my knowledge of it is woefully lacking.

Please feel free to host your own podcast so you can get some spoiler privileges and disseminate the card images as soon as you get them

Nope. It was episode 3.2 because original 3 was lost. Right now we are recording every week with our spoiler and the faction previews. After those end we will be moving to a normal biweekly show unless rules release right after.

Lol. No those won't be out till it's closer to release. So probably September or October. Still need to finish core set faction spoilers, get the rules and get the core set.

Nice. I dont like chaos faction in both warhammer fantasy and 40k. But this cards just look amazing.

Haha, I just noticed Warpstorm doesn't affect creatures with attachments. At first that sounds really weird, but then I remembered they said Tau are going to be the faction all about attachments. Tau aren't affected by the warp so I guess it's pretty flavorful

Also, when you were talking about Heretek Inventor and wondering about it's ability, it is clearly meant to be a drawback due to the unit being undercosted for its statline of 3/3. The drawback does not seem to be too bad, as it will still help you win the command struggle at other planets (and smash face!).

While we are not 100% on how the costing charts will look in this game,he looks expensive to me in relation to cards already spoiled. It is a late game card, as in its power is based on what is in the yard and it is what is in his yard. If your killing all his units how much more power do you need? Your already ahead. It could be a win condition but late game, you've been killing his units anyway the power of the card vs the cost is not needed. You are usually better off playing smaller cheaper cards in these situations. The basic question here is, is his effect relevant at the late stage of the game when he is in fact active.
