Withdrawal symptoms

By Shanester40, in X-Wing

Ok folks I got it bad, it's the Easter break and have my daughter staying and we are off visiting family. It's been two weeks since my last game and I'm aching for a game. I thought my appetite would have been satisfied by buying some new ships but alas, all the ones I want are out of stock in the UK. Hopefully my Plano case will arrive this week so at least I can get organised, and I have my game night for next Tue planned and my pre - tourney lists to play test.

Does anyone have any other ideas on how to satisfy my longing to play this game 24/7!!!

Vassal?

I can second Vassal!

If you join the X-Wing Miniatures UK/Irl facebook group you can always ask in there for a game on vassal too

Well... You could be like the rest of us and browse this forum over and over 24/7, wishing you were playing...

Helping other members, handing out advice, and learning new stuff usually gives me the fix I need to not beg my wife to play 8 matches a day.

You realize that just the fact that you have a wife that plays makes most of us hate you, right?

:D

At least he had a wife that plays..... so don't hate on that.

Mine just constantly tries to throw me in jail.

If they would let me have my paint and minis I would probably quit defending my self and go.

(I could use the peace ).

I don't have this problem, per say.
Personally, I enjoy building interesting fleets more than actually playing them.

But then, I'm weird like that :D

Monopoly, eh?

Monopoly !!??

No.

Real jail. Yes.

Gives a new meaning to the whole " to have and to hold, till death do us part " thing I. Most wedding vows.

I'm lucky, I have a girlfriend who just lets me get on with it. Pick have tried to get here to play but I'm lucky to get her to play a proper board game let alone a wargame with minis!
