Hot off the presses.

Interestingly, the Core Book still shows at the printer. If it's 3-ish weeks on the boat, they'd better hustle if they want to keep their monthly release schedule going for April.

So does that mean we'll see the first copies first week in May or this weekend it'll be released officially over here in the UK?

Obviously May 25th. A date that needs no explanation.

FFG has consistently released these products on the last ThursdayFriday of each month for a while, now. (at least in Canada/N. America). I would expect to see this at my FLGS around the 25th... Ish.

I look forward to new species, careers, maps and tokens, and a brand new corner of the universe to explore.

I might just buy it for the maps... i like maps.

Got my copy of the beginner game today. It's nice.

So how's the box? I really, really, REALLY hated that cheap ass flimsy box that the EotE beginners set came in. Is it more of the same or did they beef it up to a nice container?

The box is more of the same.

The box is the exact same box that the EotE beginner game and GM's Toolikit came in, and the same box construction all of the modules/expansions for Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 3rd came in (except for the Core game and the Adventurer's Toolkit which had awesome, thick card boxes). They are not likely to ever change this format.

I do like the box for the core WHFRP set, but, if it has to go to keep costs down it's a small price. However, I wonder if FFG has considered a premium set perhaps? Maybe down the road when all 3 CRBs are published. Some kind of unique dice, or art or something included.
