I'm going to repaint my Z-95s to look like a motley collection of fighters, less the organized color-coded system Rebels usually have. To that, I'm trying to think of names to stencil on the side of the cockpits a la WWII era fighters. I think it would be super cool if the names reflected in-universe sentiments as well. Since they're old, Rebel ships, things that reflect the Clone Wars (to show age) or Rebellion propaganda would be especially cool. Any suggestions?

So far I've thought of:

"Lucky Leia" -- I'm sure the grunts talked about their leader as grunts do...

"the Eye Doctor" -- where "Eye" is a TIE/Ln silhouette

"a Clone's Best Friend" -- former clone close air support

"TK421" --

"Old n' Bold" -- It's a Z-95 so, um, yea.

"Vapebait" -- In-universe term for an easy kill

"Miss Eisley" --

"R. Alderaan" -- "Remember Alderaan"

Good idea.

Sadly any suggestions I make are probably going to cause a lot of but here goes:

"Only One" - flown in support of Obi Wan during Clone Wars.

"Utter Pow" - support during battle of Utapau.

I'll leave it there.

Z-95s are also known as skulls so maybe some skull and crossbone motifs would look cool.

If you want an ex-clone fighter, classic mandalorian heraldry might work.

"Vode An" - "Brothers All" - is a motto that pops up a bit.

If you fancy a challenge, a fighter in "Wolfpack" colours might be cool.
