There was suppose to be an official tournament hosted by Fantasy Flight Games at PAX East this year... Well it seems they never showed up and had a 3rd party step in to run it which turned out to be pretty disastrous.

Basically,

• Fantasy Flight never shows up... gets some other game store to run it
  
• Delivers one game night kit for ~50 participants
  
• The people they asked to run it seemed to have no experience in running tournaments. (Couldn't properly pair people... took 4 hours to do 2 rounds)
  
• About half the participants bailed by the end of round 3.
  

Around 50 netrunner players gave up majority of the main day of the convention to participate in this failure of a tournament. I think some sort of explanation is in order.

I was planning to travel to a few of the 2014 regional's but now I am worried about wasting my time.
