So? How does the ability to deliver bombs in space differ from that of a Tie Bomber?

I understand what you are saying, but the above statement is part of the issue. How DOES it differ? I see very little point in including the TIE/gt as the TIE/sa already performs this role admirably. Don't get me wrong, it would be nice to see one, but there are more...unique TIE's that could be added instead. For example, TIE Sentinels, anyone? We are long overdue a turret weapon...

I have my doubts that we'll ever see the TIE/gt since the model itself is just basically a TIE/Ln with a slightly larger back section and a bomb chute. Not to mention it doesn't seem like a terribly exciting craft otherwise... I'll pass for other more interesting TIE options in the future, or heck, maybe some Imperial units that -aren't- TIE's for a change of pace.
