I actually do not have a problem with this. It's the seller's personal property, having won it at a store championship, and is theirs to do with as they wish. I look at it as the same as someone who has season tickets to a sports team and sells the tickets for games they can't or have no interest of attending.

A pretty little certificate is nice and all, but in no way should a bye be considered personal property. A person who's won a bye has earned an automatic victory, and nothing more. You cannot give away or sell that victory any more than you could sell the results of any other round.

I'm sorry, but that's a terrible analogy. No harm comes of selling tickets to a sports game. Giving the bye to a person who hasn't earned it can have serious ramifications for the tournament as a whole.

Back on topic, the person selling it is well within their rights to do so. I think them selling this is a silly thing to do, but you can put your pitchforks and torches down no laws/rules are being violated.

This is true, we don't know the seller's situation. It may not be greed but desperation (emergency bill, etc etc)?

Using that logic all men who self-pleasure are guilty of mass murder. Though it is their "toy" to play with in their own time, they are wasting enough "stuff" to populate a country.

In fact, if they are playing with their toy while watching a "movie" or looking at a magazine, or even if they're just thinking of that special someone. If the said target of their "play time" has not given them permission to "slap the salmon" then they're guilty of ****.
