Someone is selling the store championship. Can we find which store is doing this and report them to FFG?
Looks like the seller is listed as being located Ripon WI, and the Appleton store looks close. Anyone from WI available to help identify which store is doing this?
I don't think its a store. Looks like it is one person. The TO should have written their name on the Bye Certificate.
They did win the certificate so it's theirs to do what they want with, no?

Yeah, March Madness would've been better if Duke had purchased a first round bye.
Is anyone really going to pay $175 for that? It's dumb, and I would love for FFG to figure out a way to stop it. But is it really worth that much to anyone? I'm super glad I earned one and all.

The funny part will be when they lose to better players and not make the top 4, 8 or 16 cut.
Why would you want a bye in the first place? If you have a winning build, the 1st round won't hurt you, in fact it would only HELP you. Plus playing the game is FUN!

Well kinda. One of the nice things about a 1st round bye is that your second round entry into the tournament is at full SoS, so you are playing against the top players. At that point forward you are among top players. Even if you lose a round your SoS will be top notch. When a player who is not at that level pays their way, they are going to mess up the SoS for some player in the top half of the second round. And the middle of the third round. The Wins are not the only thing that matters.
