X-Wing League Nights 2014 Season 3 at Madness - Plano, TX

Hey all!


I want to announce that Madness Games and Comics in Plano, TX will be hosting League play for X-Wing from 5pm to Midnight every Friday starting April 18th and going for 6 weeks. It is anticipated that the store will continue doing further leagues on the same day AS WELL AS hosting a Regional (Confirmed).

League Structure: Show up on Friday from 5pm-midnight and find an opponent to play! No entry cost/signup required. Each match you play following standard FFG tournament rules counts towards the league and prize giveaways. We will have score sheets for recording wins/losses for each match that you can turn into the organizers each week. The league will run for 6 weeks and prizes will be given away for various achievements. I will update this thread with current standings/breakdown each week (usually on Monday).


Prizes: We will be giving away prizes from the FFG Kits, old and new. Prizes for the league will be given throughout the 6 weeks with the 'biggest' ones the final week. Obviously the more you participate, the more special stuff you will be rewarded.

Is there any chance we could work in a tournament (unofficial) between seasons? That is, when season 3 ends, we run a tournament the following week, then resume normal league nights.

Hey all, sorry for the delay in the scores, is good to be back in town.

Just so everyone is aware, I am going to be rewarding 7 points for an EPIC win (team or not) and 5 points for an EPIC loss. I may adjust this if the scores gets skewed by it, but that basically means an Epic game is about the same as going 2-1 if you win and 1-2 if you lose. (roughly equivalent to 3 games). If you haven't been, please mark these games as EPIC when you are doing your sheets. Thanks!

Was good seeing everyone again last night, it's been too long. I don't think I will be free next weekend, so would anyone wanna meet up today at the store to maybe try out Epic play? I know it's last minute. But I'm free all day, so if anyone is wanting to get in some extra X-wing just post here and let me know!

I'm off work on Tuesday if anyone wants to play. I am running the Descent game night starting at 6pm, but I am free to play until then.
