Since XXXX is seeing a mini-resurgence, I figured I'd give a bat rep on my match last night.

I ran:

Luke + R2D2 + DTF

Biggs

Rookie

Rookie

He ran:

Ten Numb + EU + Autoblaster + PTL + ...something?

Biggs + R2F2 + SD

Green + Homing Missiles

We played on a non standard sized table, figuring it equally affected us both. Opening moves were pretty gentle. I started one Rookie wide right, with my other 3 in a tight formation to my left.

He had his A and B spread with Biggs between them.

I came in sweeping arcs from both sides, he moved more toward my lone Rook who thankfully survived the opening pass, and subsequently ate some Homing missiles.

By the 2nd turn I had Biggs in better position and pulled my Rook across my formation forcing my opponent to turn on Biggs.

He ended up wasting a Rookie, while I put some hurt on his Biggs and took him out of the match. He had an R1 shot on Biggs and landed HHC which would've killed him, but Luke used DTF to pull the crit off.

I K-turned and got his Awing lined up at R3 while his B wing struggled to come around for another pass and ended up wiping his A wing, but lost Biggs. It was then my Rookie and Luke who had only lost 1 shield between them, against his Bwing with just 3 hull. At that point time rang, and I nabbed a modified win.

All in all, a pretty good match. I flew my list much better than I did in my last game, and utilized Biggs far more successfully.
