My thought would have been to just "take it to them" when looking at HLC B-Wings vs. the Falcon. They are going to be shooting at you with 4 dice no matter what so there's no reason you shouldn't just close in and return the favor; getting close may even help the chances of getting one out of position and unable to fire on you.

You are probably right. My reasoning during the game was avoiding the A-wings, which made them follow me and move the falcon out of range of the b-wings. All though the falcon was moving around faster then the B-wings, who had to avoid the x-wings, it probably was not the best tactic thinking back.

Actually, if they chase, but can't always catch, your Falcon while your X-Wings are chasing his B-Wings I'd say your strategy wasn't too bad. Combined fire (getting multiple ships shooting at the same target) will work wonder on the B-Wing although I can see why you'd want the Falcon to help deal with A-Wings.
