Was reading a thread on the YT-2400 and was wondering.. What if FFG brought in the Ebon Hawk? I imagine it would have similar stats to the Falcon maybe a bit more Firepower, less shields??. what would be interesting is the Crew cards that would come with it... Revan, Meetra, Bastila and or Malik? HK-47?? don't know what special abilities those folks would have and depending on the crew the ship could be used in both factions.

I think the main argument against it would be that it is from the Old Republic era. Someone else mentioned to me in another thread that FFG seems to want to stick to the Rebellion Era of Star Wars.
I love the design of the Ebon Hawk and am more than tempted to get the Mel's Miniatures version from Shapeways but it's a few thousand years prio to the Rebellion era.

Even though the story was/is absurd, the Rogue Shadow from The Force Unleashed would be pretty cool, though it might be too big?
I also like the other ships. Republic Era, Old Republic Era, even the clone wars. Do you guys think there could be a separate module or special collectors expansion pack with those? Like, mercenaries expansion? Mercenaries can have diferent-era spaceships, they don't need to be attached to Rebels or Empire. Would you guys buy those?

Hyperdrive is 25,000 years old. I'm not so sure that Star Wars Technology advanced that much over the 1,000 years between OR and Episodes I-VI.

You could pretty much fly an outer rim smuggler and call it the Ebon Hawk.
I would love to fly a Bounty Hunter (or even one of the named Pilots), get a new model and call it the Sith Intercpetor.

It's even more than that. KOTOR happened in roughly 3950 BBY. The Old Republic MMO is roughly 3650 BBY. Technology has advanced a lot, but considering the gap, we just never see the comparisons. The Z-95 is about as close as we get. It's cutting edge in The Clone Wars, but by the time of Star Wars, it's completely outclassed by TIEs and the X-Wing. And that's only an 18-year gap.
