What happens next?

Inspired by the example in Play Unsafe , I've decided to make my own Star Wars version of his, "What happens next?" question.


The idea is simple. I'm going to describe a short scene. Then, you respond with your answers to a few simple questions. Easy.


Here's the scene:


A technician has broken into a building and is slicing a computer terminal. From behind, a voice says, "I never thought I'd see your face again."


1. What do you naturally expect will happen next in the story?


2. What would you like to happen next?


3. What is the coolest, cleverest thing you can think up to happen next?

1. Former friend/boss levels a blaster pistol and imprisonment ensues

2. Roll for init, technician planned ahead and triggers a flashbang grenade strapped to the side of his holster.

3. It's actually his ex-lover and competition for the heist. They decide to work together, but of course it doesn't end well.
