Missile Turret idea

How many points would you be willing to pay for turret that lets you fire a missile? I'll be clear that the missile would have to be purchased separately. And also be clear that it would be an actual _turret_- you'd be able to fire a missile in a 360 arc.

Would you be willing to pay more for the turret if you could put 2 missiles on it?

2 points for 360 degrees and extra missile? a turret at range 3 (due to missiles)? that's cheap. Sure!

A while back I was brainstorming for my ideas file, thought we were short on turrets and came up with this:

Missile Turret

Attack 3

Range 2-3

Attack (Target Lock): Spend your target lock to perform this attack (even against a ship outside your firing arc).

The idea was a standalone turret that reached out to Range 3. Drawbacks were an alternate flavor of token prerequisite and the Range 1 deadzone. Interesting synergies with Dutch, R5-K6 and Fire Control System (though there is currently no ship with the System and Turret upgrades). I did not spend enough time on the idea to nail down a cost, but it would have to be higher than the existing turrets, so 6+ points. Or maybe price it closer to the existing models, but restrict it to Range 3 only.

If you are looking for a "missile" that can target something "outside the ship's firing arc" you do not need to go and make it a turret. Maybe you could look at something like this:

Point Defense Missile: 3

Attack 3, Range 1-2

Attack (Target Lock): Discard this card to perform this attack. Attack may target a ship that is outside of your primary firing arc.

Flare: 2

Attack 3, Range 1:

Attack (Focus): Spend 1 Focus token and discard this to perform this attack against 1 ship even if it is outside of your firing arc.

Seeker Missile: 4

Attack 4, Range 2-3

Attack (Target Lock): Spend your Target Lock and discard this to perform this attack even if the ship is outside of your firing arc.

Here are three ideas for missiles that could reach around and strike a target that is coming in from any angle.
