You are correct, Ser, that is a YT-2400.

FFG recycles a lot of it's art, so just because you see something on a card, that doesn't mean we'll be getting int in X-Wing. Just means that art was already there, from the RPG or LCG.

Didn't someone post somewhere that they believed the Art in the cards was like a foreshadowing? It seemed like new cards had potential new ships in their art...or am i just making this up? My search-fu on these forums is terrible.

I do believe the Outrider is inevitable. I'm looking forward to it. A Falcon with 2 Agility, 10 Hull, and for roughly the same point costs and with a different action bar.(Maybe Focus, TL, Boost, Evade)

Anyone also play the LCG by FFG? There is some overlap artwork and the latest pod has an E-wing in it for an event card! My wife's fav is 'rookie pilot' cause looks like such a goober . I agree, YT2400 will probably be the next 'med sized' ship for rebels. Seems redundant because they already have the YT1300, wish they would do something radically different looking. What do you guys want? Lady Luck?

The engine looks too big to be on a YT2400, but the rest of the ship sure does look like one.

That strikes me as they commission art they can use in multiple places...

I think the artist may have drawn the 2400 thin like the falcon.. but the overall feel is 2400.. I kind of dislike the fat bodied look of the normal 2400... just too thick in the engine area..

If we follow this logic we should be getting a moncal cruiser and star destroyer by now...

I love the idea of a 2400 etc. But, I just can't see any difference between that and a normal 1300 in the picture. All I can see in there is a wide engine glow (like the 1300) with a cockpit on the far right (also like the 1300).

Never mind. I digress. I looked at my 1300 model again and the cockpit wouldn't be visible at all from behind the engine glow unless the ship were making a right turn relative to the observer. In the picture, the ship is obviously making a slight left turn relative to the observer. My original observations are obviously in error.
