Another 2 Lists open for comments and ideas....

Hey Guys,

so here we go... first post and right away something were i need some feedback.

I'm playing this game not so long and already took place in one of the Store Championships with horrible results... haha...

So that made me think about my squads and what i would "like" to play.

I love playing Empire so please don't suggest to run Rebels.. :P

Here are 2 lists i thought about and don't know if they would be any good...

Darth Vader - TIE Advanced

Squad Leader

Engine Upgrade

Carnor Jax - TIE Interceptor

Royal Guard TIE

Stealth Device

Targeting Computer

Tur Phennir - TIE Interceptor

Royal Guard TIE

Stealth Device

Targeting Computer

Push the Limit

At this build i thought about leaving out the engine upgrade for Darth and put PTL on Carnor.

But i am not sure about that idea... The reason why i would like to play this setup even that it is only 3 ships is that it is (and here i got my problem since i dont play that much and have no experience) very agile. I should be able to stay out of a lot of firing arcs and be able to dodge a lot... maybe someone tried that already and give me some input.

2nd List:

Soontir Fel - TIE Interceptor

Royal Guard TIE

Stealth Device

Targeting Computer

Push the Limit

Tur Phennir - TIE Interceptor

Royal Guard TIE

Stealth Device

Targeting Computer

Push the Limit

Dark Curse - TIE Fighter

Night Beast - TIE Fighter

That also seems to be a fast and agile squad with a bit more firepower but less Action points...

Any suggestions would help thanks...

(And please dont ferget.. noobie.. i got no idea when you talk about XL PTL (okey i get that by now) or any other short versions! :)

I feel like you're putting too many eggs in one basket with the second one, you can easily fit 4 interceptors with plenty extra mobility over the ties with this

Royal Guard Tie - 25 points

Avenger Squadron pilot - 20 points

Not as much pilot skill there, but you don't have to worry about losing one ship as much and you can zip around like crazy.

I agree with Nyxen. Another option if you like movement would be:

Soontir: PTL and Target Lock

Cowell: PTL

Lorrir

Alpha

Cowell and Lorrir have very unique movement that can catch your opponent off guard. Soontir with TL gets silly. TL or focus alone gives you a 75% chance to hit. TL AND Focus pushes it to 93% or so. Just keep him out of enemy firing arcs.
