Begin Anew+TGT+Ibuki=Hot Sauce (of course, TGT isn't always going to be there if I'm blowing the field up)

Recall that part of what made Ibuki so janky outside of Higher Calibur and Suzaku in B2 was that, in a normal Ibuki deck, she could play Infiltrating on Turn 1 with no chance of failing unless the check gets hacked by your opponent. Well, Begin Anew will serve as the proverbial replacement for that in Block 3. Albeit it won't be nearly as free (especially with 3 two checks in the deck), it's still a pretty sound strategy, if you ask me.

Evil Plans is main-decked because A) It's a 5 Check and B) You're kidding yourself BIG TIME if you think you'll never run into BRT anymore at a major competition. I can guarantee that it'll happen in at least 2 of the 6 matches a player would play normally, and probably more than half of the top cut will be packing it. and to be honest, if it doesn't get any use, it can be used as Anti K' fuel.

Comments are appreciated. I think the Foundation base can be tuned up a bit. Maybe fit in Glare from the abyss over something, possibly Manifest, since only a little over a fourth of the cards in the deck (and none of the attacks) can use it.

You stole my deck idea! Ok heh maybe not so much but it looks solid, if not a little cookie cutter (but then again it's Evil, it can't be helped). One of the perks about Evil PLans b eing main board is that, even if you don't run into BRT it still has a use as you can do it to your attacks that you modify lol. All in all decent.

One thing that could potentially become a problem is your hand. Yes I know you have the G-String team, but you'll burn through your hand a LOT. That being said, I'd considor dropping *** for Glare of the Abyss. *** is great and all but considor this scenario:

You Ibuki R to play say, Reverse Flayer (that's 2 cards), You *** for 2 cards (that's 4 cards gone). Now assuming you want to hit someone again that's up to 6 cards gone out of a 7 card hand. A G-String team could potentially net you up to 4 cards back (assuming you have all 4 of them out), but unless you have a bunch of them and BRTs out, you could be staring down the bum's rush with 20 health and 2 cards in hand.

Now I don't know if your deck is set to OTK or to hit em a buncha time (I'd assume OTK but hey who knows)? If it is OTK, then disregard my previous idea ;o)

Glad to see Someone' seeing Ibuki as top tier.

Brad-you make a very good point, and I actually was worried about my hand as well. I will keep that suggestion in mind. To be honest, the deck can go either OTK or over a few turns get the kill. Especially since I'll have a reset button in Begin Anew. It doesn't matter to me how quickly I kill them-Evil's wall of control is so good that I can afford. I think I will take your advice, and replace *** with Glare. Thank you, sir!

Nemesis-I remember someone mentioning how well that does work (I don't think it was on the boards), especially since it's a Free R. Thanks for reminding me! However, I won't be dropping a copy of Midnight Launcher-It's too important. In fact, since Manifest will NEVER see use when I attack my opponent, I question whether or not I really need it, and Her Own Agenda will ALWAYS activate whenever I use Ibuki's R. I think I'll just replace manifest. I'd rather not have to play a foundation out and possibly clog my pool with it if it's only to commit something. And I'm not a fan of having Manifest out just to use with Anti K'-that combo was much better when it was Megalo doing the work. More or less, Manifest would only be able to activate on my opponent's turn 8 times max (4 anti k's and 4 rejections).

So, changes:

3 *** to side board, Side board remade, +3 The Glare from the Abyss

-4 Manifest, +4 Her Own Agenda.

At the end of the day its your deck list so which ever you feel works for the deck is upto you..

I'm reluctant to mention this, since I want to abuse it very badly, but consider this: Hunger for Souls. You have to play an attack first, but it does have the potential to ruin the opponent's staging area turn 1 while pushing through damage. If only it matched a symbol with Midnight Pleasure D=

Your foundation base looks a little top-heavy - Chester's, Bitterly Bitter, and Gorgeous. How often do you actually use Gorgeous? It seems like that could be trimmed to three, and one Anti-K' along with it. TAK's relevancy has decreased dramatically of late, I think, though less due to the anti-hax, and more the better, more efficient hax and whatnot. Just not as good anymore.

I'm glad to see that there are others who haven't given up on the ninja =D

Hunger for Souls is something I'm considering (gotta love how the PRINTED text is convieniently missing from the card ), And I can definitely reduce some ratios in the deck for it (Anti K and Her Own Agenda can drop by 1 and then I can drop 1 one of something else to fit in 3 copies).

TGT is actually down to 3 already-I forgot to update this list when I made a change or two.

Deck updated. -1TGT, 1-Oral Dead, and -1 Rejection for +3 Hunger For Souls. I might swap out the -1 Rejection for -1 Her Own Agenda if I see fit, but I think I'll get by just fine with 3 Rejections. Geese, I'll keep your point about TAK in mind for now, but I won't reduce it just yet.

Deck looks good. I would try to fit in Kung Fu Training for opposing Tag Alongs and also for speeding up your attack with Hunger tacked onto it. I'd also suggest adding in one copy of Charismatic. That card has saved me quite a few times. Otherwise, the deck looks pretty good.

I would perhaps suggest taking out Rejection for KFT because if you truly are resetting as often as I think you could, I'm not sure you have to worry about defending against the Aggro rush.

I'll definitely take those pieces of advice. While it would be unorthodox...hell...when someone of your stature gives such advice, it's wise to take it. Thank you, Jon!

Taking out Rejections scares the bejesus outta me just cause 20 health these days is so fricken fragile...

B-rad-that's why we playtest. My teammate is making a very angry Good Siggy deck, so I'll have plenty of big attacks to test the deck against. If it doesn't work out, it's as simple as switching where Rejection and KFT are. The next major event for me is May 30th. I'll have PLENTY of time to figure out the kinks of the deck.

I suggest you add Hungry for Battle to this deck. It gives you more opportunities to yell "OMNOMNOM" in the middle of the game, and that's always good =D

I hope that my happy-go-lucky nature will off-set the groans, Waffle =). I tend to always entertain my opponents despite what I'm playing-I don't like tense atmospheres.

I don't need Hungry For Battle. While a good card, I have plenty of damage in the deck, and it's another 4 check without a block that I simply have no room for. The only card on the bubble (Evil Plans) already has a replacement in Rejection (which I don't fear running 12 actions at all. I remember a certain worlds-winning deck running 14 if i recall. >.>). I appreciate the suggestion nonetheless, though!

What gets me is that Evil now has too many options. I was thinking about my Ibuki deck in the shower (MIND OUT OF THE GUTTER!), and I was having a hard time working out the foundation base due to Bitterly Bitter, Chester's Monies, So Gorgeous, and Billiard Player all being 3+. Which suuuuuucks. Because Billiard is amazing, even moreso with someone ridiculous like 'bukers.

I also had the random thought of King of Fighters 2006 with Her Own Agenda, and it made me chuckle =P

I'll certainly vouch for HDC, though. Great guy to play. Getting my ass kicked by Talim has never been so much fun =D

I more or less gave up on the idea of Billiard Player for the same reason, Geese. I thought to myself "I've already got 2 3difficulty foundations and Chester's. I can't afford another 3 drop (the mistake I made when making an Order deck was running like 5 3 drops)" And between TGT and Billiard, I'd rather have TGT simply for the fact that I can fuel Begin Anew recursion.
