Hey guys - a quick question (we're starting soon) - some vehicles (mostly in AoR beta) have conc. grenade lauchers that deal 10dmg and have breach 1 - I assume the damage is in character scale? Otherwise it would mean that they're like turbolasters...

Yes, both of those are correct.

Concussion grenade launchers are personal-scale weapons, while blaster cannons are vehicle-scale.

You'll find that any player-owned vehicle with a grenade launcher is very likely to have that weapon stripped off and replaced by a planetary scale weapon sooner or later. Since both use Gunnery, there's not really much of a downside to mounting a bigger (and yet sometimes oddly cheaper) weapon.
