I have been tinkering around this list lately. It seems solid and plays well

Tur, PTL/ Device

3 Academy ties

That's kinda funny.

I was thinking about

Fel, PtL, Stealth

Royal Guard Pilot, Royal Guard Tie, PtL, Stealth, Hull Upgrade

3 x Academy Pilot.

Not sure if I could do without Tur. He kicked in a couple people faces in during the championships .

The biggest problem is you only have 15 total hit points. A few bad defense rolls and your squad will whittle down quick.

If it plays good to you, it looks pretty solid so I could definitely see this list doing well. I say go with it, its actually close to a interceptor list I was thinking.

RGP+PtL+Hull+Shield x 2

then either

3x AP

OR

BH+RS/RC (need to try out both)

The biggest problem is you only have 15 total hit points. A few bad defense rolls and your squad will whittle down quick.

If the ties die I could care less it is the INTs that do the work. Hull doesn't matter with high end Ints. If you give them a shot its your fault for being in their firing arc.

15 HP isn't bad. It isn't stellar, but it can work. I like the list.

I tried:

Soontir with hull upgrade and PTL

Turr with hull and marksman

Kanos

Academy tie

I tried hull over stealth since hull is guaranteed to work, but I see the value of stealth as well!

Substituting stabber instead of Turr allows for a bigger swarm and for the value , Backstabber is a cheap and just as effective flanker.

As good as backstabber is he doesn't have boost. Boost is king !

The squad may be "solid" but it can still shatter when hit. That's the risk you take when playing Interceptors/Fighters.
