League starts tomorrow, so I need to finalize what I'm flying. I've narrowed it down to three. My sig has my ship list, but upgrade cards can be borrowed if absolutely necessary:

On list 3, I would pull the R5-K6 from Dutch. Then downgrade a Red to a Rookie in order to upgrade the Blue to a Dagger. And then upgrade the FCS to AdvS. You're now sitting at 99, you can do whatever with that, I'd probably leave it for init.

On list 2, I don't suppose I would change anything. It's a solid list.

On the first one, pull R2-F2 from Biggs - you'd be better of focusing... And yes, I know you plan on getting a focus from Garven, but you're still better with 2 focuses than just 1+R2F2. Plus, they're both susceptible to action denying, which could leave you with wasted points (R2F2) and still no focus. I would also move R2D2 to a rookie. With the 3 points you have left from pulling R2F2, you could put a hull upgrade on Biggs.

The "problem" is that there's so much you're missing out on when you run 4 of any list. So most lists seem to round out better when you splash something else in. I've become quite fond of XYAB recently since each ship does a specific job, but the list doesn't break down when any of them die. Thus why I would recommend list 3 and then list 2.

A league for me isn't about winning, it's more about experimenting and practicing flying different ships. that way I learn the ships and how each of them needs to be approached when it counts.

For nothing? HECK NO!

I love x-wings. If I'm playing with Rebels I like to have 1 or 2 in a squad. Can you play all 4? Absolutely! 4 X-wings means 3 attack die, 2 defense die, and a total of 20 HP! Wedge and Gaven are my two favorite named pilots to throw rookies around. Just remember the limitations of the Xwing and slow play them as needed to keep them in position.
