Where do the rifts open? In the Science Building on in the location shown on the Mythos card played this turn?

I would play this at the Miskatonic U. Streets

I believe when Kingsport came out Kevin said that if a rift opens up and there isn't a gate location, then draw a Mythos card and place it at that location. So in this case, you would draw a Mythos card for each rift opening and place a rift at each of those locations. If there isn't a gate location on the card, draw until you get one. You'll be discarding a few Mythos cards this way...

Doesn't this apply to the Unusual Phenomenon Sighted in Arkham headline as well? I don't think the target location is the Unvisited Isle, necessarily. After all, it's not the Mythos card's movement pattern that opened the rift, and it's possible that two could be opened by this card.
