Maneuver dials in Yet Another Squad Builder
Fantastic additions!
Very cool!
Cool, good addition.
I am not certain what you are saying regarding mobile devices though. I'm looking at it on my iPad right now and there is nothing on the bottom of the screen, though the maneuver box does extend off of the right hand side of the screen.
The revised menu system is great, but may I make a suggestion? When you select a ship type, us it possible for the pilot drop down to automatically default to the bottom end generic for that ship? Wouldn't make a difference to someone picking a different pilot, but would speed up someone choosing generics or someone who just needs a ship selected so they can check the wording on an upgrade.
Sorry; when I said mobile I meant phone (width < ~768px, I think). The information panel is already visible on tablets. I'll see what I can do about the excessive width of the maneuver info (although I'll probably bounce that to hpanderson, since my SVG fu is nonexistent).
I'd been thinking about having the pilot dropdown default to the first selectable ship. Wasn't sure if it was too weird of an idea, but I think it's worth doing. I'll add it in soon.
Very cool. This continues to be my favorite builder.
Awesome.
One thing: on my iPad the maneuver dial area appears at the bottom right slightly outside of the window.
I love it. I have to confess that if my employer knew how much time I spent on your site while I was at work they would block you.
I pretty much keep a tab open onto your site on all my internet devices all the time.
I particularly like how you broke it down by ship then pilot.
The maneuvers are a welcome addition.
Very nice!

I definitely think it is a good idea. There are lots of times when I go to your site just to look up the stats or wording on a particular ship or upgrade and I just want to get to that point as quickly as possible.
BTW, to boost your ego some, in general I don't like digital army building software. Pretty much every game I ever play I just grab a piece of paper and go through the cards or codex adding up what I want. Yours is the first that I thought was easy enough to use, and provided enough useful information for me to actually use it.
Why is it when I click the login button it does nothing? I want to be able to save my lists, but I need to login to do that.
Awesome.

I think I can get my hands on an ipad this weekend so I'll see if I can figure out what's going on there.
Most of the credit goes to geordanr for designing such a great piece of software, and Evan at FFG for the idea.

Strange... it's working for me. Is it still happening after you reload? In all browsers? In each browser's equivalent of Incognito Mode?

Yeah it's still does nothing when I click login. I have exited my browser and even cleared all my history and setting so I have no idea why it won't work.
It works fine on my tablet. Just not my PCs browser.
Edited by Bjorn RockfistWhat browser/OS?
What browser/OS?
Windows Vista and IE9. Also when I hit the button to print it pulls up the list, but the button to actually print it is cutoff at the bottom. When I try to move down to it my startup bar pops up. It is cut off just below the box to check for "Add space for damage/upgrade cards when printing".
My Android tablet's browser allowed me to login via my FB account and works fine.
Edited by Bjorn RockfistUnfortunately I don't have IE9 handy for me to try to replicate the error (FWIW, it's working on IE11/Win7). Does it work on other browsers on that machine (Chrome/Firefox)?
I'll see if I can spin up a VM or something to replicate this (if I can find my old Vista key...).
Minor update: selecting a ship now autoselects the first non-unique pilot.
Awesome. Feels more natural now, much better flow. Thanks a bunch.
Pushed up hpanderson's fix to the maneuver dial position.
Also, added the new Tantive IV title.
I've confirmed that there's a problem with IE9 (and presumably IE8). I'll see if I can find a fix.
Had an odd glitch the other day after you set it to default to lowest pilot. It wouldn't do that all the time. I selected a firespray and it defaulted to BH, then I selected a tie and it didn't default to AP.
Reloaded the page and everything seems to be working fine now, but thought you should know.
I believe I have fixed the issue with logging in for IE8 and IE9. However, it requires that you access the SSL protected version of the page ( https://geordanr.github.io/xwing ); I've provided a link at the bottom of the builder for IE8/9 users accessing the page without SSL.
Forgottenlore: strange. Haven't reproduced it on my end, but it sounds intermittent. Let me know if you find a way to reliably reproduce the error.

Will do. Like I said, simply reloading the page seems to have fixed it. Just wanted you to be aware.
