What the title say, pretty much. Does the boost die from Improved Inspiring Rhethoric stack with the strain recovery from the basic version? My inclination is to say yes, but a couple of my players thought otherwise.

And of course, the same goes for the setback die and strain damage from Scathing Rebuke.

The boost die is in addition to the talent's original effect, and the same for the setback die for Scathing Tirade.

Yeah - it's 1) Restore strain 2) Add Blue 3) Do it as an maneuver. Mind you, you could do one for your maneuver and the other for the action, giving out both blacks and blues for the round. No reason you couldn't do that (assuming you have the strain to go around, of course).
