Greetings! So.. I used to play old CCGs (MTG, Decipher Star Wars, a few others) and recently got into Netrunner LCG. Cool game. A question about Star Wars LCG. Do you need more than 1 force pack or is it like Netrunner? 1 comes with everything you need for a legal playset?

yep, one of each force pack and Balance of the Force, 2x "deluxe" boxes - currently just Edge of Darkness and the Core.

If I were buying in right now, however, I would start with ebay. I would look for someone selling a partial collection and then buy what they did not.
The best thing about this LCG as opposed to the original CCG - you won't have to wait FIVE YEARS for an Emperor card. My wallet likes this game a lot more.
The lower cost is definitely a great feature. It even fits into my grad student budget! I would certainly consider picking this up if I were you. Though juggling two or more LCGs might get a little too pricey for some. I stopped collecting LotR when I got into SW.
