Just wanted to share my latest X-wing experience, mainly because several funny things happened throughout that game.

(to be honest i cant really remember)
Asteroids were placed mainly in the middle of the map. I started with most of my team in the bottm right. He did initially spread his 3 ships out.
First contact had me flanking his B-Wing up to Range 1 with Soontir and hit him for 4 damage. Ten Numb then nimbly shot at Howlrunner and landed two devastating criticals:
- Howlrunners PS was zero after this round
- all of Howlrunners Pilot skills will be ignored
So basically i had a PS0 Tie with no skills, who wouldnt eve given re-rolls out ONCE to his fellow ships. Great success.
(Altho Howlrunner had 2 crits, she will survive the game... that was funny too
)
In a later round one of my Tie's was attacked by a cluster missile from range 1. He "only" took 2 critical hits, and nothing else.
- All your 90° maneuvers count as red maneuvers
- when taking a red maneuver, roll an attack die... and eventually get damage.
So with ONE hull left and facing an asteroid, i had no other choice as to take a red turn left. And exploded ![]()
Turr Phenir also had a lot of fun. He died in turn 3. One of my Tie's moved before him and just had to barrel-roll to avoid an asteroid in the following round. Turr crashed said Tie by about 1mm and got no action. Ten Numb's last shot was 3 damage and I rolled 3 blanks/focus. great when you can't take an action with Ptl.
Prefectly denied my own actions there.
In the end I won with Fel at full health and 2 Ties with 2 damage each. Was a great game ;-)
