If two characters with Loom are both standing next to a character using Negotiation, do they both add Advantages to the check?
My two goons...
I don't see why not. Nothing in the talent says otherwise, and it makes sense that two big scary guys are more effective than one.
Edited by RikoshiHow about the Heightened Awareness talent? Could two people with the talent grant the bonus to each other and both help out the rest of the nearby group?
I thought, by and large, bonuses didn't stack unless they're from different sources?
e.g. Heightened Awareness wouldn't stack with itself but would with Inspiring Rhetoric.
I'd probably let it reduce any Setback dice, just so one of your guys hasn't wasted their points.

Is this in the rules somewhere? I know it's commonly accepted, but aside from Defense, is it actually specified?
No idea, just what I've picked up at the table so may even be a house rule. Prevents things getting silly though.

Possibly, but in this case it might be considered by some to be silly that multiple goons with Loom are not more menacing than one.
Absolutely. But any social interaction where one side outnumbers the other should probably involve Boosts or Setback dice if dissatisfaction could directly lead to "uncomfortable" repercussions for the smaller group.
(Probably Setback - lots of Talents exist to negate them, so GMs should chuck them in whenever possible or else these Talents will start to feel worthless.)

Tell me about it. In my game we have a Big-Game Hunter/Survivalist with Outdoorsman 4! No terrain encountered yet slows her down.
I think I'd tend to treat it as an "assist" type situation, where the goon with the highest loom adds his advantages in, then additional goons can add one each. This should let a goon squad be more intimidating than just one, while keeping things in check should someone have a bunch of guys with Loom 3, for example.

Loom isn't ranked. If you have it you add Advantages to Charm/Deception/Negotiation checks based on your Coercion.
