Losing stealth

By KILODEN, in X-Wing Rules Questions

what hits cause you to lose stealth?

bombs?

asteroids?

APT?

Assault missile radius?

or just direct attacks?

thanks guys

The Advanced Proton Torpedo is EXTREMELY likely to hit you and have uncancelled [hit] or [crit] results which will mean losing Stealth Device. It is a "direct" attack even if it is being made with a secondary weapon instead of a primary weapon.

Asteroids, bombs, getting hit by weapon "splash", and even pulling [crit] results with Draw Their Fire don't TOUCH a Stealth Device.

The Advanced Proton Torpedo ...

I suspect he meant to type APL, anti pursuit lasers. Just a guess though.

yup.

yup.

An honest typo although you can run into difference between primary and secondary weapons which is why I answered the question assuming APT meant Advance Proton Torpedo as that is the common abbreviation.

Anti-Pursuit laser would be like any of the other "non-direct" attacks and wouldn't touch the Stealth device.

Not even "non-direct attacks" but "non-attack" in the first place. :-)

DARTH VADER!

does not remove a Stealth Device :)

edit: should add that I mean Vader as a crew member.

Darth Vader...in an Advanced...attacking and successfully hitting you would be an accurate, if extremely specific example, yes.

:D

That so makes me want to see a X-Wing/Star Wars version of Clue.

Vader. Anywhere. With anything.

It's always Vader.

More like Vader. With the Force choke. In the wherever the hell he feels like.
