I think I would prefer something other than the YT2400 if simply for the fact it is too similar to the YT1300. Though I cant think of any other rebel ship of appropriate size there must be something that could be used
The YT-2400 had a very nice look that I would like to see as a miniature.
It is similar to the YT-1300, but there could be some small nuances to make it appealing. And people are running dual YT-1300, at least now it could be YT-1300+YT-2400 for some visual distinction and make the Falcon ''unique'' again! For my part, I never bought a econd YT-1300 and never will, so it would serve a purpose.
More Importantly, we could make a duel between Han and Dash so Han can show this copycat son of a **** who's the best smuggler in the galaxie!

You can get a 1/270 scale YT-2000 on Shapeways. If you cannot find it, PM me and I'll send you a link, the design or have one printed for you. They look very nice when painted up.

Pirates and smugglers alive, alive o. I'd love to see a release like this. Doesn't have to specifically be a third faction as such, but it could give us some great opportunities for objective missions, narrative campaigns etc.
A couple of pirate fighters -
• Cloakshape Fighter
• Preybird
• Supafighter
Maybe a couple of transports/cargo freighters -
• Muurian Transport
• Mobquet Transport
• Action VI Transport (Wild Karrde)
• Pursuer-class Enforcement Ship (Slave 2)
• IPV-1 System Patrol Craft
That Modified Action Transport/Wyld Karrde looks pretty **** cool to me.

Mercenaries, Pirates and Bounty Hunters as a third faction would be nice, but I like the mercs for hire idea as well. It would add a nice bit of flexibility and options for both factions...

IG-88 for imperials and 4Lom for rebels
Good chance there won't ever be a 3rd faction, and bounty hunter will probably always be imperial.
Rebels have a couple ships that could be done though. Someone mentioned the Lady Luck, many think it an ugly ship, I kinda do too, but it is a ship, and most will probably buy it for the Lando pilot and upgrades/new pilots. The Baudo space yacht, sleek smooth ship. The YT-1760, I personally love that one, its anawesome design, and differs from the standard 1300 style.
Some good suggestion here... don't hold your breath on the smuggler SD ... but there are some good ideas here..

Just means the Wilde Karrde would be a single release , like the big ships coming.
