Hi I have a question about the R3-A2 droid from the Rebel Transport set. Will it work with the 360 arcs of turrets or will it still be confined to a ships primary weapon arc?

Turrets don't actually give you a 360 arc, they let you fire outside of your arc. So anything that keys on the firing arc, like r3 or backstabber still looks at the regular, printed arc.

The only exception to that is the firespray, whose rules DO say that it has a second firing arc.

Same deal. YT has a fire arc, and the guns simply have a turret ability which lets them attack targets outside that arc.

The only ship currently with anything more than the standard forward fire arc is the Firespray, which has a second, auxiliary, fire arc in the rear.
