Are you an ace pilot? Think you're the best? Come and prove it at our Best Pilot in the Galaxy tournament at TippCon this year!
This year TippCon will is featuring an exciting alternate tournament format to find the best pilot in galaxy. Players will build a squadron consisting of exactly ONE ship of their choice (excluding the Blockade Runner/Rebel Transport) and may choose any combination of pilot and upgrades with no point limit. The finished squadron must still be a legal setup. Many pilots will enter but only one will earn the distinction of being the best pilot in the galaxy with bragging rights until next year’s TippCon.
The tournament will consist of a minimum of three rounds. More rounds will be added based on attendance. In all instances we will follow the FFG tournament rules and the latest FAQ will be used for any rules questions.
The X-Wing dice app will be legal. Neither the Rebel Transport nor Blockade Runner are legal for this event.
Saturday May 31st
Schedule (Please try to show up approximately 30 minutes before the start of the event so that you can check in and complete pre-tournament setup).
Round 1 5pm – 6pm
Round 2 6pm – 7pm
Round 3 7pm –8pm
Additional rounds (including any top 4/8 playoff rounds will begin immediately after Round 3). Players will know the exact number of rounds once event check-in is complete.
Prizes: 1st Place 2nd place 3rd place
There will be random prizes awarded throughout the tournament for impressive feats of piloting skill!
Entry Fee: $10 if you pre-register. $15 day of the event. We cannot guarantee an available spot on the day of the tournament. Pre-registering guarantees your spot.
