I have a few friends that have yet to receive their Aces from them. No communication at all. Anyone else? Always had good experiences with them with other games.

i'm still waiting on mine as well.. i have 2 on preorder and i'm starting to get a little miffed

but it seems this is FFG's stigma.. make you wait

i ordered my Ywings from them once.

it took almost 3 weeks after everyone else was sold out of them that i fanaly got them.

i asked for a refund and they kept saying they havnt got them in yet, but i saw the other online stores get them in and sell out and still took 3 weeks to get mine.

i do not think i will pre order from them ever again.

My FLGS got in four a week ago Friday. Four sets. I picked one up that afternoon, and they sold the last one Saturday evening.

The owner told me that they should be getting some more in soon, though. They seem to be one of the last stores the distributor supplies. They didn't get any HWK-290s until November.

If your talking about Discount Games Inc ( http://www.discountgamesinc.com/ ) I have a preorder from them as well, I emailed them a few days after release just to get a status update. and he got back to me really quick.

"Fantasy Flight has announced that the release date was last Friday, but they did not ship many of the item to distributors. The quantity shipped was much lower than what distributors had pre-ordered. I was not able to get any of the product from that wave. Wave 2 is supposed to arrive in 1.5-2.5 weeks."

based on how many other people saying that thier FLGS were shorted on preorders, Im just guessing hes low on the priority scale. Also based on when i received that email, I would assume (and hope) that he should get his order soon (5 -10 days). Based on the price I got them for, Im not going to complain to much for waiting, (I think it averaged out to $17.50 each and that included shipping to canada)

I know none of the local game stores in my town have received a single box of aces yet, and that includes the Barnes and Nobel. So, the lack of product may be part of the same supply issue rather than any intentional mischief.

I got mine at my LGS on March 15, but they only got the one. I went to my B&N and they still didn't have any, but they had stocked the smaller packs (some X's and TIE fighters).

i got my pre-order at my LGS but they didn't get enough the first time for everyone, then they got more and they still haven't fullfiled the original pre-oreders.

uhhhh sounds more like an issue with the seller than FFG, I ordered mine from Miniature Market and had no problems. If the distributor doesn't order enough to cover the pre-orders then people will be waiting. Don't just blame FFG for something that is not up to them.

It's not that.. this company got none of its preorder.. at all.. at least that's what they told us in the email response.. so.. I blame FFG but.. MM came through, and my LGS did as well.. and I'm just waiting on one now.. not any real hurry for it..

Mine arrived early this week, so I was happy about that since I would have had no recourse since the 45 days since purchase on ebay had long since elapsed. It did, however, arrive battered and had a corner crushed (fortunately just missed the models).

MM and CSI are much bigger etailers than pretty much anyone else, so I could see FFG giving them the lion's share of the initial stock for "branding" purposes. Just a complete guess, but if new releases are generally always available consistently at a couple stores, it helps FFG's image vs. everyone completely running out.

Short summary, MM and CSI buy in bulk and make good distributors.

Edit: that said, I ordered 4 from discount games, I'm patient and will just wait it out. I also emailed them and got a similar response.
