"Fully loaded" variant

In this squad-building variant, all ship upgrade slots must be filled. Titles and modifications remain optional.

**NEW RULES:** Unreleased stuff isn't allowed. Your squad must contain at least 1 upgrade slot.

What sort of squads would you build with 100 points?

Well, since no swarms will be around with this conditions I would like to fly this one:

Scimitar Bomber + Flechette Torpedo x2 + Concussion missile x2 + Proton Bombs + Hull Upgrade

Omicron Group Pilot + Darth Vader + Gunner + Ion Cannon + Hull Upgrade + Fire Control System

Tempest Squadron Pilot + Homing Missile + Munitions Failsafe

I know the bomber will have a hard time to get rid of all that stuff, but should still be able to do it

Or

Darth Vader + Cluster missiles + Daredevil + Engine Upgrade

Maarek Stele + Homing milssle + Marksmanship + Munitions failsafe

Royal Guard Pilot + Elusiveness

Well, I just like this version of Vader, i had great successes with him. Maarek is just there since he gets no love, being overprized and sporting a almost useless ability (thanks to 2 attack dice).

The Royal Guard is just a filler :-) (I'd rather go with targeting computer on the RG instead of Elusiveness, but since I have to fill the upgrade slots...)

Looks like this parameters allows for 3 ships only :-)

I'm bringing 3 scimitars with flechette's, protons, concussions, clusters, seismics and munition failsaves.

Because I love bombers, and anything that dares me to bring a fully loaded squadron gets a thumbs up from me.

I would love to try this variant out with 200ptns when the transport and 'vette are out! :D

But in the mean time how about:

It's not "loading" them but more like "unloading" the entire slot. Perhaps it violates the spirit, just like an Interceptor swarm does, but it does not violate the rules given.

Biggs + R2-D2 + Shield Upgrade + Flechette Torpedo

But hypothetically, I'd say Chaardan Refit would be allowed and would have the usual effect.

Well poop, I was going to post my Crazy Bandit Squad here (Bandit with Shield Upgrade and Concussion x5) BUT I GUESS THAT'S OUT NOW! :B

How about...

Krassis Trelix- Recon Specialist, Heavy Laser Cannon, Cluster Missile, (Slave-1) with Flechette Torpedo, Seismic Charge, and a Shield Upgrade

Colonel Jendon- Intelligence Agent, Weapons Engineer, Fire Control System, Ion Cannon, STI-321, with an Engine Upgrade for good measure.

At 99 points it's two very hard looking ships. The Intelligence Agent is to help plan the use of Engine Upgrade and dictate Krassis' action for the phase. Krassis brings the bite and is tougher to kill, Jendon brings the Target Locks for both ships.
