tried out the new mission that came with the Imperial Aces yesterday. two questions arose.

first off, if the prototype is near the facility that allows you to perform 1 additional attack, can the ship perform a missile/torpedo attack as the first attack and then an additional primary weapons attack? that's how we planned on playing it, but any clarification on the matter would help.

secondly, i received a crit hit before performing the planned attack, and the crit was Blinded Pilot (The next time you attack, do not roll any attack dice.) Since the prototype was next to the facility that allows two attacks, will he have to skip one of his attacks and still be able to perform the next?

1) It just says attack, it doesn't restrict what weapons can be used. So you could attack with any secondaries you happened to have, in any order - P/P, P/S, S/P, or even S/S if you have two. Linked Advanced Proton Torpedoes, anyone?

2) Just like with Gunner, if you have something that gives you more than one attack a Blinded Pilot will resolve itself on the first attack, leaving you to make the second attack normally. You don't technically "skip" the attack - you make the attack normally, just without any dice to roll.

wow....and I had adv. protons and cluster missiles....but only one target lock so guess I would only have been able to use one....

and that was what I assumed on the blinded pilot card.
