Due to the high volume of imperial players at my LGS I have always played the rebels (though i have always prefered the darkside). Consequently, i have very little experience playing them and am a scrub when it comes to their dial and tactics. To start i need help with a build. I am aiming to use lorrir and a large ship but it must be at least a four ship build. once i settle on one i will post help with tactics. heres is what i have come up with thus far. thoughts?

It was interesting. Some room for tweaking certainly. I always enjoy people's reaction when they see the Lumbering Neublar Orca cover ~half the board in one turn.

Yorr doesnt help Lorrir as it denies his use of the barrel roll.

But you can go wrong with a dog fighting shuttle/Buzz saw shuttle. and some academies.

Your first list looks solid. You should use the Academies as blockers in front of Krassis while Lorir flanks and tries to split your opponents forces.

The only small tweak I would make is swap out hull upgrade on Lorir for TL (which will make him tougher on damage potential) and change mercenary co-pilot to recon specialist so that Krassis has a little bit of both worlds (offense and defense).

For his ability to work, Lorrir needs to receive stress. If Yorr receives it instead , Lorrir never received it.

Here's the list I'm going to be playing this weekend:

Vader + Squadron Leader

2x Alpha Squadron interceptors

Colonel Jendon + 7pts of upgrades spiced to taste. Thinking probably Sensor Jammer and Weapons Engineer, but it's haaaaaard to decide.

Jendon is really interesting. You could drop him for a cheaper shuttle pilot and take Targeting Computers on the interceptors, but by taking Jendon for a similar point cost you get to circumvent the low pilot skill of the interceptors. They get guaranteed actions, and the occasional very high quality target lock.
