46 pounds = 76.39 dollars today, or 2 core sets from my local vendor.
"Taking the pi55" is a kinder term than I'd use.

I got an excellent deal from Miniature Market and it was prompt delivery, my first package was not stopped and I saved around £20, sadly the second was and my savings fell to about £4, but I had the ships I wanted.
Perhaps the second following so soon on the back of the first flagged up on the HMRC computer, I am not sure how those people work. At the end of the day I have no beef with the tax, which came to £8, it is the £8 handling charge which sticks in my craw. I didn't ask them to 'handle' it, they chose to, so why should I pay.
I suspect a couple of A-Wings would get through OK, but who knows. You pays your money and takes your chances.
Oh, and the same thing happened to my son, first batch free, second hit.

I know that feel, I've been lucky to get 2 A-wings. But if you can just wait 3-4 months. A-wings and Tie Ints are most likely restocking with Wave 4/Corvette, Maybe even the Rebel Transport. If not and you are desperate for Interceptors, get Aces, at least one of the none unique is legal currently, as it is also contained in the Tie Int pack.
Try different european webshops? Amazon.de has a bunch of stuff (including y-wings for ten euro and lambda's for 18). There's also an amazon.fr and that's just the most well known of shops.

just ordered from miniatures market and got good value even with shipping costs, The price hike however is really going strong now. a dealer in the uk is asking £89 for a basic TIE, yes £89 and no its not a typo, for my friends in the US that's about $149, what can one say especially when my local stockist has them for the normal price
