Which "Hero" ability card set is the best default for each of them that you have found?

have the same question, maybe i have also missed something in the rulebook.

I know you can use any ability deck that is of the same type as them. I was just dissapointed they didn't come with their own. As allies they had abilites they could gain that were exclusive to them. As Heroes they are just kinda bland....cause none of the healer decks really fit Serena nor do any of the scout decks fit Raythen.

Serena can do quite well as the disciple in particular. Raythen can play as almost anything, but I like him as the wildlander.

and there will be always more skill decks......

with the next expansions.

I really like Serena using SpiritSpeaker. Her high fatigue allows her to easily utilize the high cost skills in that set. There is a lot of free damage in that discipline, but its just so expensive for the other Healers. And if she takes Nature's Bounty, she can heal herself for 6 Health if her stamina is maxed out when she rests.

I imagine Treasure Hunter would be good for Raythen. For Serena, something that generally focuses on single target healing would be nicely complemented by her AoE Feat.

I'm in a shadow of nerekhall campaing where I play Raythen as a Stalker. Not so bad, but i'm only played two missions, so can't really tell what it worth at the end.

i found him not so good as a stalker, since his passive is fatigueheavy when u use it (same as the stalker, which is uncool).

i'd play him definately ranged, so wildlander comes to mind. since that class misses an "easy-actionfree-search-action" raythen performs good in here.

thief should not be picked, since he does better damage in melee.

serena works good as spiritspeaker (but the spiritspeaker doesnt work good )

apothecary is (imho) THE best healer, so you can play her with that.

prophet would work really good, since you would counter out his low base heal with your heroic feat.
