I'm afraid that the Shuttle will almost never get an Autoblaster kill, particularly if he doesn't have an Engine Upgrade.

HOWEVER:
If you drop the two Academy Pilots in favor of Captain Jonus (the Tie Bomber pilot), you can afford getting a HLC for your OGP as well.

You may drop Gunner at this point off of your Shuttle, in favor of an Engine Upgrade, as you'll not be missing, and need the mobility.


Another alternative: Drop the Autoblaster and Merc Co-Pilot in favor of a Fire Control System and Engine Upgrade on the Shuttle. This way, your second (Gunner'd) attack will ALWAYS be Target Locked, and you have the mobility boost from the EU as well.

I would suggest another Firespray instead of the Lambda if you have it. If you don't, then go with a Lambda build such as:

I actually prefer the 32 point OGP + FCS + Gunner + Engine Upgrade build to a Bounty Hunter, and they both still have a crew and cannon slot open.

I was looking to see if it was a ships in hand issue as the OP doesn't list the ships he has available in his sig. I would take a BH over a OGP for ease of flying, but a buzzsaw Lambda is quite the threat, as long as you know how to fly it.
