A List I would like to run but can't and probably won't be able to soon.

I would really like to run 3 Outer Rim Smugglers each with Anti-Pursuit Lasers. I think it would be a fun list.

But here's my problem. It costs $180.

Okay maybe not quite that. I have a YT-1300 and a Lambda Shuttle, and I would probably like to get another of both eventually.

But this list requires me to own 3 YT-1300 and 3 Lambda Shuttles.

I also don't think it is a super competitive list, I just would like to try it.

What lists would you like to run, but can't because you don't own the ships?

Well friend,

If you look at my auto sign I have a ton of ships. So this is what I did.

I found via searching http://www.miniaturemarket.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=X-wing

They have TY-1300 for 19.99 and same with Shuttles. Amazon also has good prices and if your a prime member free shipping.

If you have a budget for gaming at 25 a month you can save up quick. Also I thought rather then having a ps1/nes/360/wiiu/ and ps4 it would be much simpler to sell all my older stuff and raise money for Star Wars. Believe it or not but gamestop and barns and nobles have ships which look for deals.

Also I would tell you only get one of each play test them you might not like them as much as you think.

Look summer is coming have a yard sale, mow some lawns it's amazing how fast you can save money when you put your mind to it, look around your house for extra games and stuff you are not playing with chances are you won't miss stuff that you have not touched in months let alone years.

I am pretty sure nobody will blink if you print out and sleeve a couple APL proxies.

Also Christmas and birthdays come and it's an easier time to ask for a ship or two then say a new video game. (Ps if it means that much a part time job is a great way to make money even if it's only for 2 months) Mcdonalds is worth it.

You really only need the bases so cut out some posts and write falcon on it. Then save your penny.

Much agreement

Play it on vassal first a couple of times and find out if it is really something you want to invest into.

I am pretty sure each shuttle comes with two anti pursuit lasers so you'll only need to buy two..... I am against print and play... much too environmentally friendly

Such blasphemy! How can you justify selling off your SNES and Super Star Wars for ... for... oh wait, you can play it on an emulator? And you can use a PS3/360 controller on your laptop... and you can connect your laptop to your tv via hdmi... So at the end of the day it's like you're actually playing on the SNES, but you have save states you don't have to put up with the crap save system...

Herm... why do I have so many old systems hooked up to my tv?!?!

in a friendly game print it off.. or use a squad builder sheet that has all you need on it.. it is only going to be an issue in a tourney.. but you can probably borrow the cards you need from friends.. so you should be good.. and maybe borrow YTs from them until you get your own.. simple..

It doesn't work as well as you'd imagine. I've tried it.
