Wow, really, really irritated...

By born to lose, in X-Wing

It will be replaced for sure. The pictures you have taken of it send to FFG as proof.

I have had two miniatures replaced after I took pictures and sent them in.

FFG are really good.

As did I just recently, when the peg broke off of a X-wing. I just took a picture of the damage, and added it to the request. I did find out that replacing ships could take just a bit longer to arrive. However, that could be due to when I put in the request. *shrugs*

Good luck.

I cannot see how they are unacceptably fragile. They're less fragile than the Star Wars Micromachines I had as a kid that were meant for kids. They feel a little fragile, but frankly they're far more durable than you give them credi for.

I have only once had something that ever disappointed me from FFG. All the models have been great up to Aces. The paint on my Royal was truly awful. I had to completely repaint it. And the wing is a bit sqewed. Think the printing/painting went a bit wrong with aces.

Haha, Crabbok! :')

That's a bones mini, which are nice. But the are also cast from the same sculpt that they did their metal mini's with. They also use a plastic vinyl type of material to make them. Very lightweight and very cheap. They also require a lot of special treatment to make them look as good as a normal mini.

I have a friend who sculpts for Reaper so I know a fair amount about this line.

X-Wing would never work if they made them out of same stuff, because those mini's are rather soft and kind of rubery.

The ones that FFG does produce though are plenty durable enough for the cost. Every bit as durable as the plastic stuff you get for 40k but a lot cheaper.

Then stop buying the FFG crap if it bothers you, and stop calling people liars while you are at it.

Ah because that's the solution when we encounter a problem, we ignore it and instead of voicing our concerns to get it corrected, we just run away? Interesting ideology.

So the way to proceed in a discussion is putting words in other people's mouths and then saying that they are lying? Interesting ideology.

I am the destoyer, the unmaker and the omega....at least when it comes to GW and PP stuff. I pick up a model and it routinely falls apart. A lot of that has to do with the fact that they are multi-piece models. Oddly, I never can seem to break my FFG stuff. When it comes to the models and price to play this game, I'm overall impressed with FFG quality for $15 a pop and that's coming from a 10+ veteran of playing GW.

I had a B-Wing peg break and FFG replaced the whole model even though I only requested a new peg. Problems happen with all model lines and even GW kits have some warped pieces (let's not get into finecast). I've yet to run into a company with better and faster customer service that FFG.
