We are quickly approaching the line for the Rebel Transport to make it to us in May. Currently the Transport is at the manufacturer, if it moved to "On a Boat" today we'd see it at retailers sometime during the week of the May19th. So unless we get Hulk to reenact his role as Hurricane and take the Thunder to go get those ships in may slip to June.

Has anything for this game been on time? Their 1 saving grace is that so far everything IMO has been worth the waits and delays.

I expect to buy one that's been airlifted across the ocean at GenCon.

Last year I asked a friend to snag a copy of the Rebellion beta book while I was in a game, not knowing how ridiculous the line was. He waited almost an hour. I felt really bad about it.

Not bad enough that now that I know that he'll do it, I'll get him to wait for minis this year.

Haha.. I must be the only midwesterner hoping for more snow at the end of march.. hahahaha I came home to Illinois from California... haha

not sure if I'll make Gencon this year, my last trip there was 98 with a group of friends. I need to see who is going so I can double, or triple up in a room.. lol

Hey hey hey... I want a few more inches of snow! As of yesterday morning, Detroit was 3 inches shy of setting a new record, and it looks like we got about 1 inch throughout the day... so 2 inches to go till we get a record setting winter! (Given, we have set records for lows, consecutive days below 0, lows w/ wind chill, inches of snow in jan, inches of snow in 30 consecutive days... and I'm sure a few more that I don't know about). Lets just say I have a new appreciation for my snow blower!

On topic I'm still sorta torn about going to gencon. I don't really want to go and pay for everything associated with it, but I want to play X wing at it (and pick up whatever I can get my hands on as far as X wing)... So I'd more than likely treat it as a one day trip, but its still a 4hr drive each way for me, and that's assuming they don't make it either a 8am start or a two day event... At which point it makes it harder for me to decide I want to go get a hotel, and a multi day badge... and then some fuel cost...

Up until now, I figure that I really haven't spent that much money on X wing that I can't get back if I ever leave the game, but that would set me back a few hundred which would make it hard to recuperate from... unless I won top 16 and got my grimy hands on some of those templates!

So my b-day is at the end of may...

I want to tell my wife to get me a transport as a present but I have no idea when it will be released. Has FFG said anything about when they are hoping to release it?
